About Me
I have been drawing, creating, photographing and "making" as long as I can remember. After earning a BFA and B.Ed. at the University of Lethbridge, in Canada. I taught in South Korea and then moved to Calgary, Canada where I taught kindergarten and Art to Children ages 4 to 10 at a private school. I have also worked as a photographer for 15 years. After deciding to stay home to raise my 2 daughters and son, I decided to focus on my first passion: Illustrating.

I work both in Procreate and traditional colored pencil. In my digital work I still like to hand draw each element, but I enjoy being able to layer and draw small details to bring together from many different canvases.
I live near Bragg Creek, Alberta, Canada, in what my daughters call "our forest", with my Husband and three kids. We also live with deer, foxes, cougars, black bears, and visiting owls - who my girls decided are called "Itchy" and "Scratchy" after watching them "scratch" mice out of the snow. This setting often shows up, in big or small ways, in my work. I hope you enjoy seeing my work here and I welcome any questions or comments you have for me.
